POET OF THE MONTH #11: Fatma Ben Mahmoud

FATMA BEN MAHMOUD

THE PROSTITUTE

Every morning
She declares repentance
she tidies up her loneliness
and enumerates her orphan
wish

At the end of every night
she reverts to her old habit

                                                                        (2012?)
